WIN Report 2024

In 2018, Marilyn Fowler, the President and co-founder of the Women’s Intercultural Network (WIN), suffered a stroke and was hospitalized. After 24 years of her dedicated service, WIN faced a challenging period. Two board members stepped in to support the organization during this time.
In January 2021, Elahe Amani, who previously served as the chair of WIN’s Global Circles, accepted the role of President and Chair of the organization. Amani brought a fresh perspective and renewed energy to WIN, and with the help of a newly solidified board, the organization was able to overcome its challenges and continue its mission of empowering women and girls across cultures and communities.
